The Minimum Every Local Business Needs

Every small, local business should (at minimum) have:

1. A Good Website
Nothing fancy. Just clear + clean. Hours, location, menu/services, contact. If someone can’t find that in 10 seconds, you prob lose them.

2. Lots of Google Reviews
This is your storefront online. People trust reviews more than ads. Ask every happy customer. Put a QR code at checkout. Aim for dozens, then hundreds.

3. Content Posted Every Day
Doesn’t need to be perfect. But, you have to start getting your reps in. A photo of today’s special. A video of your staff. A quick shot of the shop when the light hits right. Best thing you can do is have your most Gen Z / online employee takeover all social media + let them cook.

Without these three things, you’ll have to rely solely on the quality of your product + word of mouth. In my experience, few biz’ can get away with this - unless, you’re a 100-year-old, cash-only bakery that sells out by noon.
